St. Mary Magdalene's Camino young adult group will be discussing Pope Leo's new encyclical over the course of the summer! Anyone (all ages!) is welcome to join!
What: An informal summer discussion series of Pope Leo's new encyclical, Magnifica humanitas, "safeguarding the human person in the age of artificial intelligence." Each week, participants will read one section of the encyclical on their own, and we will gather to discuss it as a group. Snacks will be provided!
We will be taking a faith-based approach to discussing the encyclical, but you do not have to be Catholic to attend!
Where: St. James Church, 718 Franklin Ave., Wilkinsburg, PA 15221. If the weather is nice, we will meet on the side lawn (to the right of the church as you're facing it); if not, we will meet in the lower Chapel, accessible just past the side lawn and down concrete stairs.
When: Monday evenings, 6:30-7:30pm, June 15-Aug. 3 (no meeting on July 6)
